As I’ve always said, I remain completely neutral in my coverage of Occupy Wall Street. But while researching MoveOn, I accidentally e-signed a petition. I thought I had to enter my info just to see the full text, before actually “signing.” Wrong, just be entering, I was signing. Not what I’d intended.

#OWS Occupies Washington Square (for a bit)

The occupation of Times Square has been well documented – mainly by citizen journalists. Around 8PM, when I got the first wind of a simultaneous occupation happening in Washington Square at NYU, I decided to make a break for it and see what develops.

In contrast to the high energy and ever-greater tension at Times Square, Washington Square Park had a festive buzz.

What do “they” think of protests in the US

Today, as Occupy Wall Street occupied Times Square, I bumped into several folks from abroad (Europe and South America) and got their opinions.

First, I saw the sign “French frogs are with you,” but I couldn’t make it across the crowd to find out more. I had closer conversations after that.
